Ratna Ling Retreat Center is located on 108 acres of beautiful land in the coastal range of Northern California, on the western border of California's famed 'wine country', which spans Napa and Sonoma counties.

Several lovely ponds grace the Ratna Ling property, and groves of redwoods provide natural sanctuaries. Salt Point State Park, located a mile to the south, offers hiking trails leading to beautiful beaches and dramatic views of the Pacific Ocean. The climate reveals nature in all her aspects--gentle and giving, fierce and demanding.

The name Ratna Ling means Jewel Crest. It was chosen to express the beauty and potential of this special place. Sensitive to the splendor of the natural environment and the needs of the larger community, we live quietly on the land.
